Best RTX GPU Upgrade Within $350?

Asked By GamerGuy123 On

I'm currently using an ASUS GL10DH prebuilt system with a Ryzen 5 3400G and a 1650 Super, and I want to upgrade to an RTX GPU to play the new Doom game. My budget is between $300 and $350, but I'm hearing mixed opinions. I was eyeing the RTX 3050, but some folks are saying it's not worth it. What alternatives should I consider? I've seen options ranging from $500 to $600, which is out of my price range, so I'm open to suggestions!

The RTX 4060 is a solid card in your price range. You can often find it for about $342 at places like Newegg. There's also the anticipated RTX 5060, which is supposed to start at $299, but it might be pricier when it launches.

If you can hold off a bit longer and save up, you'll have a better selection. It's worth waiting to increase your budget instead of rushing into a purchase you might regret. Just my two cents!

I get that, but I'm just not keen on spending over $600 on a card right now unless I’m building a new PC.

Consider looking for a used card; you might be able to snag a 3070 or a 3070 Ti within your budget. Just be sure to buy from a reputable seller!

What are some good places to find used GPUs? I only really know about eBay.

You could also check out local marketplace groups or forums for used parts!

You might want to check out the RX 6600 or even better, the 6600 XT. They’re great options if you're considering performance alongside price!
