Hey everyone! I'm trying to find a solution for managing user access and roles across various software platforms we use. We have over ten different programs, and it's becoming really challenging to keep track of who has access to what. Ideally, I'd like to find either a SaaS solution or an on-premises software that allows us to view users' roles and access levels. If there's a way to automate the process of adding or removing users, that would be a bonus! For now, just being able to see access levels would help a lot. Thanks for any insights!

JumpCloud is a solid SaaS option for accessing roles and managing access. It works pretty smoothly for those kinds of tasks.
You could look into using Windows Active Directory with sssd or FreeIPA. Both can help you manage user roles effectively.
I’d recommend using a pair of FreeIPA instances. They handle this kind of user management easily and work well if you keep them on-prem.
We’re currently using Okta for some of our access management. Just keep in mind that it depends on your environment's specific protocols. It might not be the best fit for everything.
