Hey everyone! I recently picked up a super fast SSD that I'm planning to use primarily for gaming. I also got a smaller 250GB SSD that I was thinking about using to install Windows on. My question is, if I put my operating system on the smaller SSD while keeping my games on the faster one, will that affect game performance? Thanks for your help!

Your plan to put Windows on the 250GB SSD will work well! Just make sure to install your games on the bigger SSD, and you should be all set! Keep me updated on how it goes!
You’ll definitely want to put your OS on the fastest drive. Most games don’t take full advantage of SSD speed, but keeping Windows on the quicker drive can prevent any potential bottlenecks.
It's best to keep your OS on the fastest SSD available. That way, you ensure the best overall performance, especially during boot times and when accessing system files.
You shouldn't notice any performance hits as long as both SSDs are decent quality. Just be cautious if your 250GB SSD is a low-end model; it could slow things down if it struggles under heavy usage. But generally, having your OS on one drive and games on another works just fine.
Consider partitioning your fast SSD to allocate some space for the OS and keep the rest for games. This can help you manage storage better, especially if you have a large drive.

Thanks for the reassurance! I appreciate it!
