I'm looking for advice on which TV to buy since I primarily want to use it for watching Netflix and YouTube. I'm not interested in live TV or any subscription fees, especially since I want to avoid paying the UK license fee. Ideally, I'd like to find a solution that helps me avoid distractions, as I tend to get sidetracked when using my PC. I currently use a portable DVD player, but I don't watch my Netflix list as I should. Considering my needs, do I need a smart TV, or would a dumb TV paired with a streaming device like an Amazon Fire Stick be a better choice?

A PC monitor with a Fire Stick could work well! It’s a solid option, especially if you’re looking to keep things simple and focused on streaming.
Thanks, that didn't actually occur to me as an option. I don't suppose you know if the Dell Alienware one would work? It'd save me buying another one.
