Best Upgrade Options for a Slowing PC

Hey everyone! My PC has been feeling pretty sluggish lately, and I'm thinking about upgrading some parts. Here's what I've currently got:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (6-core)
- **GPU**: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super
- **RAM**: G.Skill DDR4 Aegis 2x8GB 3000MHz
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B450M S2H
- **SSD**: Kingston A400 480GB
- **PSU**: be quiet! System Power 9 400W
- **Case**: BitFenix NOVA Black Midi Tower

I usually play League of Legends at 1080p, and I sometimes try other games too. I'm looking for advice on what to upgrade next, maybe my CPU, motherboard, and RAM, or should I go for more RAM or a faster SSD?

My budget for this upgrade is €400. Any suggestions for the best price-to-performance boost? Thanks a lot!

It sounds like a CPU and SSD upgrade could give you a decent performance boost without breaking the bank. Consider getting an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X for around $130. It’ll work well with your existing RAM. Also, check if your motherboard supports M.2 drives; if so, grab a 1TB PCIe SSD to speed up load times. You might be able to do both within your budget!

In your case, since your budget is tight, I'd recommend sticking with a 5600X and holding off on a full overhaul. If you're hitting around 350GB on your SSD, it's likely slowing you down. Switching to an M.2 NVMe SSD would help a lot. You could get a Teamgroup MP44L or a Crucial P3 Plus, which are great options for speed at a lower price.

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll definitely look at those SSD options. Do you think the Ryzen 5600 will pair well with my current setup?
