I'm looking to upgrade both my CPU and GPU with a budget of $1,200. I'm located in Mexico, so prices need to be considered in pesos after conversion to dollars. Here are my current specifications: I have an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, an Asus TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING Micro ATX, EVGA KO ULTRA GAMING GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB, 32 GB of G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200, a Corsair CX550M 550 W 80+ Bronze PSU, and a Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB NVMe SSD. I'm considering the following components for the upgrade: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X for $250, Gigabyte B650M D3HP motherboard for $136, MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 VENTUS 2X OC Edition 12 GB for $757, and a Corsair RM650E 650W PSU for $87. Are these the best options for improving my performance?

The Ryzen 7600X actually needs DDR5 RAM, which can get quite pricey. I'd recommend sticking with your current motherboard and RAM and just upgrading to a Ryzen 5700X or 5800X instead. The power supply and GPU you’ve picked look good, though!

Totally agree! When I upgraded from 2600 to 5600, the difference was incredible—you could see the improvement in Windows and gaming right away!

Consider the Ryzen 5800X or the 5700X for your CPU. They're solid and you won't have to change your RAM or motherboard. For the GPU, the 5070 Ti is nice, but make sure Nvidia pricing in Mexico is competitive, or maybe look at alternatives like the 9070XT—it's cheaper and offers comparable performance.

Best bang for your buck would be to go with a 5700X3D. It's a smart upgrade without the hassle of switching to AM5 and DDR5 RAM, which can be a killer on your budget. Just check availability in your area!

Honestly, for a budget conscious upgrade, I’d suggest a 5600X for the CPU and spend as much as possible on that GPU. The performance for gaming will be considerably better with a stronger GPU, especially for what you’re currently using.
