Best Upgrade Path for My PC Build Under £3K

I'm planning to enhance my current PC setup and I'd like to get started on some upgrades now, with the potential of adding more RAM later. I already have a case, a CPU cooler, and a power supply that I can potentially reuse, depending on their compatibility. However, I'm leaning towards getting a new power supply since I'm doubtful about the current spare capacity being sufficient. There's no need for additional storage since I have 3TB available. I'm also uncertain about whether my current GPU will fit, as I'm not too sure about its specifications. If needed, I'd be willing to spend a little extra on quality parts, so I'm flexible with the motherboard and other components. For sure, you definitely need a new power supply! It's also a good idea to upgrade your CPU cooler. I suggest checking out the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE—it’s a solid option. Regarding the GPU, the RTX 5070 Ti is a great choice; it’s only about 15% slower than the 5080 but significantly cheaper. That’s something to think about!

You’re right about the 5070 Ti being way more affordable—it's about £400 less than the 5080, and the performance difference is only about 5-15% in frames per second. Plus, the AMD 9070XT also performs comparably to the 5070 Ti and you can get it for around £629. It might be a better bang for your buck!
