Best Upgrades for Around $500 to Boost My PC Performance?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to level up my PC without going overboard on spending—I've got about $500 to work with. My current specs are:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G (with Radeon Vega Graphics)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
- RAM: 12GB

I'm pretty new to PC building, so any insights or suggestions on how to best allocate this budget for upgrades would be super helpful! Thanks!

You should definitely consider upgrading your CPU to either a Ryzen 5600X or 5700X. They usually range from $80 to $130. It'll really boost your performance. For your GPU, the Radeon 9060XT (16GB) is a solid option and goes for about $370. Also, bumping your RAM up to 32GB (2x16) at 3200MHz for around $40 would be a smart move!

If you're looking for top-tier performance, consider getting the 5800X3D processor, which can be found used for about $250-300, though it's pricey since it's discontinued. For gaming, a 16GB RAM setup is fine, but 32GB is great if you multitask.

I'd say go for that 5600X or 5700X since you can find them cheap. The 9060XT for $370 is a great GPU. Use the remaining budget to get some 32GB RAM. Just a heads-up, it might look a bit odd, but it’s performance over aesthetics, right?

Exactly! Performance is key, but also keep an eye out for styles that fit your case.
