I'm looking to upgrade my gaming setup and make it more current and faster. I've got a budget of about $5,000 to spend. Here's what I'm currently working with:

- **Computer**: ASUS ROG Strix GA35DX_G35DX
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (3800 MHz)
- **Motherboard**: ASUS GA35DX (BIOS: GA35DX.309, 01/21/2021)
- **Chipset**: AMD X570
- **Memory**: 32 GB DDR4 RAM 3200 MHz
- **Graphics**: ASUS TUF RTX 3080 GAMING OC
- **Storage**: 1 TB HDD & 2 TB NVMe SSD
- **OS**: Windows 11 Professional

Can anyone provide some insights or suggestions on what I should upgrade or replace?

With your budget, it might make more sense to build a new PC instead of upgrading. Your current CPU is solid, but you could get a more powerful GPU if that’s where you want to focus. Upgrading to something like the RTX 5800X3D could give you some boosts in gaming if that's your main concern.

Honestly, for $5,000, you might want to consider a whole new build. Check out subreddits like /r/buildapcforme for complete suggestions. Your current setup is decent, but a full overhaul might give you much better performance than piece-mealing upgrades.

If you're thinking about CPU upgrades, look into something like the 9800X3D along with a new RTX 5080 graphics card. It will definitely improve your gaming experience. Just make sure to check compatibility with your current motherboard.
