I'm currently gaming on an OLED monitor, which looks fantastic. However, I also have a 60-inch LG OLED TV on the opposite side of the room that I'd love to use for gaming. I'm trying to decide if I should use a DisplayPort or HDMI cable, but I just realized my TV doesn't even have a DisplayPort connection, so it looks like I'm stuck with HDMI. What's the best way to minimize signal loss with a longer HDMI cable?

You should be just fine with a long HDMI cable! I’ve got a passive 5m HDMI cable connected to my projector, and it works perfectly without any problems. Just ensure it’s rated for long distances.
Most TVs only have HDMI, so you're right to go that route. I’d recommend sticking with HDMI 2.1 if you can, since it's designed for higher bandwidth. Using a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter usually isn't worth it as it can cause issues. Just make sure your HDMI cable is good quality to help with any potential signal loss over distance.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely look for a quality HDMI 2.1 cable.
