Hey folks! I'm getting ready to buy a pair of 32GB 6000 CL26 G.SKILL Trident Z5 Royal Neo Series DDR5 RAM sticks for a total of 64GB. I don't intend to overclock or tweak them beyond using the EXPO profile to hit that 6000 speed. I'm pairing it with a 9950x3d processor. My main concern is whether I can just use the memtest64 tool included with Windows to ensure the RAM is stable, or if I should go for a different testing method. I want to be sure it's reliable since I might need to return it otherwise. Also, I play games at 1080p if that gives any additional context. Appreciate any guidance!

I’d say memtest64 is fine for initial tests, but many suggest using dedicated tools like MemTest86 for in-depth testing if you really want to make sure everything’s solid. It runs outside the OS and can catch errors that Windows’ version might miss.
First, you should definitely check if you can POST (Power-On Self Test) at those advertised speeds. It's a good first step. You can use memtest or any benchmarking tool to test for stability at stock settings. Running games or applications you're used to can also help see if everything feels stable during use.
