I recently picked up a computer from a marketplace, but I'm running into issues with it not being able to handle some games I want to play. I'm pretty lost when it comes to PC parts and upgrades, so I thought I'd ask for some guidance before I buy anything. I know that not all components are compatible, so here's what I've got:
- GPU: RX 570 8GB
- CPU: i3-10100
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ
- SSD: 500GB WD Blue NME
- MOBO: H410M-E
- PSU: Astro 500W
- CASE: Black Musetex
I'm looking to play games like Jedi Fallen Order, Diablo 4, Oblivion Remastered, Sifu, and Death Stranding on at least medium settings. Any suggestions on what I should upgrade first or what parts would work well together? I really appreciate your advice!

Yeah, it can be super confusing at first! Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. You’re in the right place to learn more about building!
Before buying anything, it would help to know the resolution and refresh rate of your monitor. That can affect what upgrades you should go for.
Honestly, I think your best bet is to build a new PC. Those parts are pretty outdated and won’t really support newer games well.
I'd recommend watching a ton of videos about the components you need, it’ll really help you understand the ups and downs of PC building.
Your CPU is holding you back quite a bit. A 10th or 11th gen i7 or i9 would boost your performance significantly. Also, definitely upgrade that GPU since the RX 570 is pretty old; it's likely causing issues with starting some games.
So the 10/11th gen i7/i9 is a CPU, right? I'm still wrapping my head around all this. My friend might be gifting me his old GTX 1660 Super—how does that compare?
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check that out.
