Hey everyone! Here's the situation: we're a biotech startup facing closure soon and need to back up our entire SharePoint environment for archival purposes. We're fully cloud-based with M365, currently using Druva for backups, but we'll lose that service when we shut down. We have around 7TB of data to save, and the typical drag-and-drop is just not practical. Does anyone know of some tools or methods that could help streamline this process?

I've been using Veeam for backing up Office 365, including SharePoint sites and OneDrive. It's great because you can dump everything directly to a file system without needing to restore it back to SharePoint. Just a heads up, their licensing is a bit odd; you license per user, but sites don't count, so you can manage a lot with just a standard license.

That sounds good! But I've heard Veeam needs a yearly subscription, which might not fit if you're pressed for time.
