Hey everyone! I'm a student and I'm looking to get my first gaming PC with a budget of about 500-600€. I'm unsure about the best way to go about this. Building one myself sounds interesting, but I've never done it before, and I hear buying used parts can be tricky since prices for old builds seem rather high. I also considered companies that refurbish used gaming PCs, but I'm not sure what specific components I should prioritize besides the CPU and GPU. Any advice would be appreciated!

There are definitely companies out there that restore and sell used gaming PCs! I know of a place in Finland called Prenew that has some reasonably priced options that should meet your gaming needs, especially for titles like CS2 and Fortnite.
Check out the subreddit r/buildapcforme for budget-specific advice. Just a heads-up, your budget of 500-600€ is on the lower side, but in the EU, prebuilt PCs can actually be a good deal compared to building from scratch. It might not save you a ton of money to build your own, but if you enjoy learning about components, it can be a rewarding experience.
That's great to know! I was really torn between buying a prebuilt or diving into building my own. I've looked at prices here in Finland, and they're much higher than I'd like. Maybe ordering parts from Germany could work, but I’ve heard warranty issues can be problematic.
