Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a CPU upgrade and could really use your advice on which X3D model would give me the best performance for my gaming needs and also help future-proof my setup. I mainly play games like Dune, Valorant, and AOE4, with Cyberpunk and Jedi Survivor on my to-play list. I'm also someone who tends to keep a lot of browser tabs and windows open. I was considering the 5700X3D, but I've noticed it's become quite pricey lately. I regret not purchasing it last year when it was around $150 on AliExpress. Just to give you some context, here's my current setup: Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, x470 Gaming Plus Max motherboard, 32GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU, and an ASUS TUF VG259QM monitor (1080p 280hz) along with two older 32" 2K monitors. What do you think would be the best option for me?

If you're close to a Microcenter, check out their 7800X3D combos. They usually have good deals!
What’s your budget? If you want to stick with your current motherboard and RAM, the 5700X3D offers the best value. Otherwise, for newer tech like the 7800X3D or 9800X3D, you’ll need a new motherboard and DDR5 RAM.
I've heard the 8-core is solid. Is it worth it to splurge on the 12-core version?
I wish! Unfortunately, I don't have one nearby.
