Black Screen After Installing New RTX 5070 Ti – Help Needed!

I recently purchased a new RTX 5070 Ti from Gigabyte and after installing it, both of my monitors display a black screen and say 'No signal.' I can only boot into the BIOS using my integrated GPU (iGPU), and I can't access Windows or BIOS through the new graphics card.

I'm using two monitors, one connected via DVI-D and the other via HDMI. Here's what I've already tried:
- Testing each monitor individually
- Updating the motherboard BIOS to the latest version
- Using different cables for the GPU and PSU connection
- Resetting the CMOS battery
- Switching the PCIe link settings to Gen 3 / 4 / 5
- Enabling CSM (though it auto-disables with an iGPU)
- Reseating the GPU to ensure it's securely connected

Here are my PC specs:
- CPU: i5-13600k
- Old GPU: 3060 Ti; New GPU: RTX 5070 Ti
- MOBO: Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X DDR4
- RAM: 64 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4
- PSU: Corsair TX 1000W

Interestingly, my motherboard doesn't seem to detect the RTX 5070 Ti at all, even though it's installed in the same slot as my old GPU. I plugged the old GPU back in thinking I could adjust some drivers, but now Windows won't boot even with the old GPU, which is still recognized. I'm at a loss here—any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your GPU might be dead on arrival if it doesn't show any signs of life. If it’s brand new, I recommend returning it for a replacement. Just double-check that you didn’t accidentally damage the motherboard while installing it. Sometimes installations can be tricky!

No damage to the motherboard that I noticed, and the RGB lights on the GPU turn on. I figured it could be more than just a dead card since others have had similar issues with this series.
