I've been having a frustrating issue since I factory reset my PC. Now, every time I launch Fortnite, I get a blue screen with the error 'IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.' I've looked at the minidump files using Blue Screen Viewer, and they all point to 'ntoskrnl.exe' being the cause. It's strange because I can run other games without a hitch, even those that use the same anti-cheat system. I've tried reinstalling Fortnite multiple times, but that hasn't helped. Some folks have suggested it might be a RAM issue, but I can play more demanding games just fine. I'm on Windows 11 with a 4090 graphics card and 64GB of RAM. Any ideas on how to fix this?

First, make sure to back up your important data! Then, if you're able to boot into Windows or Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for crash logs. If you find any dump files, zip them up and upload them to a sharing site. The more data you provide, the better analysis can be made on the cause of the BSOD.
I got hit with the same IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL error after the latest Windows 11 updates. You might want to check if rolling back to a previous version helps, or see if there are any new updates that have addressed this issue.
It sounds like your Blue Screen errors could be related to EasyAntiCheat, especially since you mentioned it's only happening with Fortnite. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling EasyAntiCheat to see if that resolves the issue. If it doesn't, you might want to reach out to Epic Games support for more specific help.
I had the same problem! Reinstalling EasyAntiCheat did the trick for me. Good luck!
Great advice! I found my minidump files in there and it helped me track down the issue.
