Building a Budget PC for My Niece’s Digital Art

Hey everyone! My sister has asked me to put together a PC for her daughter, who's about to start 8th grade. The main purpose will be for digital art and drawing, and they'll be using programs like CorelDRAW and Photoshop. However, we're working with a super tight budget of about 300 BGN (around $180). I'm thinking of the following parts:

- AMD Ryzen 5 5500 (3.6GHz) - $75
- 16GB DDR4 3200 Apacer Bulk RAM - $35
- PSU for Ryzen 5 5500 - $32
- 256GB SSD Silicon Power A60 - $25
- MSI A520M-A PRO Motherboard - $65
- Random PC case from my uncle's old build
- My old GPU: Radeon SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 570 4GB

I know it's a bit over the budget, and while I'm willing to cover any extra cost, I'm not sure if she'll go for it. I'd like the parts to be brand new (except for the GPU and case). Also, I found a second-hand deal for an ASRock 970 Pro3 motherboard, AMD FX 8350 CPU (8 cores, 4.2GHz), and 16GB of RAM with an EVGA GeForce GTX 980 GPU for $107. Should I go for it?

It sounds like the 256GB SSD might be too small for what you need. Those drawing apps and Windows can take up quite a bit of space. Any chance you can find a larger drive? Also, using a single stick of RAM could really hold back performance since dual-channel memory is better for tasks like this.

Yeah, I'm thinking about using an HDD from my old PC since I have a couple of NVMe drives that I don't use. One is 1TB and the other is 2TB.
