Hey everyone, I made a really dumb mistake about a month ago and downloaded a Trojan disguised as something for a game I play. I only realized I had it when my Roblox account got hacked. After running a scan, Norton flagged one file named main.exe, which was tied to the scam website. I deleted it, thinking I was safe, but I kept seeing a weird clear window popping up when I boot up my PC. To play it safe, I used Asus Cloud Recovery to reset my computer completely.
Now I'm worried: could this RAT have spread to my router or other devices on my network? I'm not asking about just account logins, but if the actual virus could transfer itself to a Mac or other Windows devices without me doing anything. I even ran a scan on a site that identified it as "Backdoor.Script.LodaRat.a." Thanks for any insights!

Remember, a RAT can access everything on your PC, including documents, passwords, and browser logins. Just because your other accounts aren’t hacked yet doesn’t mean you’re completely safe. Make sure to reset every password you have and enable multi-factor authentication. It’s also a good idea to install Malwarebytes and scan your system again.
In my opinion, it’s possible but pretty unlikely. Most RATs don’t just spread automatically unless they exploit some serious vulnerability in your other devices. Since you’ve wiped your infected machine, you’re probably in the clear!
Alright, yeah all they did was hack my Roblox Account so my guess is they just want things to sell on third-party sites or whatever.
I did reset all my passwords, but I'm really concerned if this RAT could spread to other devices without me doing anything, even without file sharing between them.
