I recently took a four-hour flight with my Apple Pencil packed in my backpack. Throughout the flight, there was nothing else in the bag, and it remained upright without any falls. However, after landing, I discovered a crack in the Apple Pencil, even though it still functions. I'm curious if air pressure during the flight could have caused this damage, or if something else might be at play.

Most likely, no. It seems like something might have crushed it without you noticing. Maybe something slight happened that you didn't see?

Are you sure? The bag only had my pencil, and it was secured. I was the only one in my row, so nothing else could have touched it.
