I recently had an issue with my 1TB HDD. It stopped working, and before this, I noticed that DISKPART indicated there was an error and recommended backing up my files. I did manage to back everything up while it still functioned, but now it seems to have completely failed. I tried reconnecting it to another SATA port and even swapped out the SATA cable, but no luck. Is there any chance this HDD can be repaired?

Keeping your room clean is great, but it won’t help if the HDD is already damaged. It’s possible that stacking HDDs, like you mentioned, could have contributed to the failure due to heat or pressure issues. You might want to consider a professional recovery service if the data is really important.
If you don't have a clean room, it's pretty much impossible to repair an HDD. They need a dust-free environment to avoid further damage during any repairs.
