I'm getting ready for my finals and I want to go back to the chat I had back in February when I was studying for my midterm. Is it possible for ChatGPT to recall the documents I uploaded during that conversation, or will I need to upload everything again?

Keep in mind that documents uploaded in a chat expire after three hours. However, if you uploaded them to a project, they'll stay there until you decide to delete them. It's always good to double-check!
If you're looking for a simple solution, just ask ChatGPT directly! It might be able to help you with info from past chats.
Assuming the memory feature was active back in February, it should recall those documents without issues.
Actually, I've found you can just ask ChatGPT to re-read the documents! There's no expiration as long as you use them in the chat.
