I just got a new monitor as a birthday gift, but it only has a DisplayPort while my PC only has HDMI ports. I have a couple of questions: First, will HDMI 2.1 be able to support 1920x1080 at 240Hz? Secondly, if I connect using HDMI 2.1, will it perform at its maximum potential, considering that my PC's HDMI port is quite old (around 7 years)? Sorry if my English isn't perfect!
