Hey everyone! I'm working with a Ryzen 7 5700X and a Gigabyte B550M K motherboard, and I've currently got 2 sticks of 16GB RAM at 3200MHz. I'm thinking about adding another 2 sticks of 16GB to total 64GB. Will my CPU support that, or should I stick with what I have? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I think you should definitely go for it! Your motherboard has 4 RAM slots, so it can handle 4 sticks. Just remember, compatibility is key. It's always best to use the same brand and model when mixing RAM to avoid potential issues, but it could still work out well. 64GB will keep your system running smooth for gaming and other tasks!

True! And if you're gaming, 64GB should last you well into the future, even if tech progresses. But do check your motherboard's manual to verify the RAM compatibility just to be safe.

As long as you're using DDR4, you should be in the clear. On the AM4 platform, it handles 4 sticks pretty reliably. Just double-check the speed and timings to ensure everything works well together!

I’d be a bit cautious. While 4 sticks can work fine, it’s better to check the Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for your motherboard to make sure the RAM you pick is compatible. Sometimes mixed RAM can run at slower speeds. Just a heads up!

Yeah, or you could end up sacrificing performance if the RAM doesn't play nice together. Definitely check before buying!

Your CPU can handle a whopping 128GB of RAM, so adding 64GB should be no problem at all. Just keep in mind that optimally using RAM sticks of the same make and model is always recommended for stability.
