Hey folks! I'm new to PC building and I have a prebuilt machine. I'm looking to upgrade my storage options but I'm not sure if I can add a second SSD to my Gigabyte B460M D3H motherboard. I've skimmed through the manual and done some online searches, but I get confused pretty easily. I found some info about the B460M DS3H model, but I think mine is different. Sorry if this question sounds silly, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes! Since you have the option for M.2 and SATA SSDs, you can really pick any SSD you like! Just remember to check the installation notes in your manual regarding any potential bandwidth sharing with the SATA connectors.
You can definitely add a second SSD! If you're already using one M.2 slot, you can connect your second SSD via SATA to the motherboard, along with a SATA power cable from your PSU.
According to the specs on the Gigabyte site, your motherboard has two M.2 slots, so you can use additional SSDs. Just a heads-up: the availability of the SATA connectors might change based on what's plugged into those M.2 slots. Make sure to check that out in the manual to avoid any bandwidth issues.
