I'm planning a build with 2x16GB of DDR5 and may want to upgrade to 64GB in a few years. If I buy two more modules of the exact same model, is that likely to work, or can DDR5 be unreliable even across different production batches? I've heard four-stick configurations can be especially sensitive with XMP or EXPO, and that AMD systems may have more trouble. Could installing the extra RAM damage or brick the computer, or could I simply remove the new modules if it fails?
