Hey everyone! I recently installed Windows 11, specifically version 24H2, and I'm wondering if the command to restore the classic right-click menu still works:
reg.exe add "HKCUSoftwareClassesCLSID{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}InprocServer32" /f /ve
I've always relied on this command, but I heard some people saying it doesn't work anymore in this version. Can anyone confirm whether it still does? I'm not a fan of third-party software for this kind of tweak, so I'd appreciate any input!

DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE AS OF 8/27/25
SICK OF MICROSOFT WRECKING THINGS!
You might want to try just holding down the Shift key while right-clicking; that brings up the classic menu without any tweaks. Also, if you're looking for alternatives, there are some guides online for restoring the old menu, but keeping it simple with Shift is a good tip!
For those wanting to revert to the classic right-click menu, there are a few options out there! Remember, using Shift is a quick fix if you want to retain some of the classic feel without any commands. There are some YouTube tutorials as well for more detailed guides on this!

Yeah, the Shift option definitely works, but if you're still into the command, I've seen mixed results with it in 24H2. You might want to check out some of the guides to see if there are updates or tweaks needed.
