I'm working in a strictly on-premises environment and management has decided to deploy new computers with RAID1 configurations. I'm used to straightforward cloning without RAID, but now I'm unsure how to proceed. My initial thought is to rely on Veeam for a standalone workstation backup, and then do a bare metal restore for each workstation. Is this the right approach, or are there better options I should consider?

Once your image is created, you might want to consider using the RAID feature in Windows. Just be aware it won't help if you have hardware RAID since the OS wouldn't see the individual drives directly.
