I'm currently using a Kingston Fury Beast 32GB RAM kit (KF436C18BBK2/32) with a speed of 3600MHz. I'm looking to expand my RAM capacity, but the vendor doesn't have the same kit available anymore. The only alternative they've got is a Kingston Fury Beast RGB kit (KF432C16BB2AK2/64) that works at 3200MHz. Can I mix these two kits safely without causing issues, and what should I be aware of in terms of performance?

If you mix these two kits, they'll likely run at the lower speed of 3200MHz since that's the cap for the RGB kit. So, your system will default to that speed. Just something to keep in mind if you're looking for optimal performance!
It could even drop lower than that if the highest common profile is lower. You might have to tweak the settings yourself to get better speeds.
Yeah, when I added a mismatched stick of RAM, my system defaulted to the speed of the slower one. Keep an eye on the voltage as well, that can make a difference too!
Mixing RAM isn't just about speed. You should also consider the voltage and latency. Those factors play a big role in ensuring your system runs smoothly. Just a heads up!
You can definitely combine them, but remember that overclocking with four sticks might get tricky due to the limited memory lanes on your CPU. The 3200MHz should work alright though!
Exactly! I’ve mixed DDR4 RAM before, and it always settled on the speed of the slowest stick. Make sure to also match the voltage where possible.
