I'm trying to reduce my phone use at home and want to find a way to receive calls and texts on my computer. I've looked into devices like CELL2JACK, which connects Bluetooth to landlines, but I'd still need to check my iPhone for texts. Is there a device that lets me connect a landline via USB to work with Phone Link? My goal is to have a setup where if I receive a call, it rings a landline that connects to my computer.

Honestly, it seems like you're swapping one device for another instead of limiting your phone time. You might also consider sticking with Google Voice; it can send texts and receive calls on your computer. It's a decent alternative if getting a landline to work with Phone Link is too complicated.
It sounds a bit tricky! There aren't many straightforward solutions for connecting a landline via USB directly for Phone Link. I know a few USB handsets can work with some apps, but they often just let you talk and listen once a call is picked up, and their features are pretty basic. You might still need to check your phone for texts unless you use something like Google Voice for that.
Yeah, if you can find a USB handset that does the trick, that would be awesome. Being able to text with your keyboard and take calls on a USB phone sounds like a solid workaround!
I get what you mean, but I’m just hoping for a more convenient way to manage calls and texts without constantly using my phone. Thanks for the suggestions!
