Can I Connect an RGB Remote to My New PC?

I recently bought a used PC that has RGB lighting installed, and I also have an RGB remote controller from another PC that lets me customize the lights, turn them off, and adjust fan speeds. I want to know if I can connect this extra RGB remote to my new PC. I see that the RGB lines are connected to the motherboard, and there's a small black box on the power supply side that looks like it might be related. Any advice on making this connection?

If the remote works with your other PC, it should work with this one too, as long as you can integrate it properly into the setup. Just check how everything is connected and follow the instructions for your RGB gear.

Your previous computer likely had a dedicated fan/RGB controller that everything was plugged into, allowing the remote to communicate with your devices. If your new PC has the fans plugged into the motherboard instead, you might need to unplug them from there and connect them to a similar RGB controller. Just make sure it supports the same type of connections.
