I have a computer case with 7 fans that are connected to a fan hub, which is powered by a 4-pin SATA connection to the PSU. Right now, I can only control the fan speeds and RGB lighting using a remote control. I'm wondering if it's possible to switch the power from the PSU to the chassis fan header on my motherboard so I can control the speeds in the BIOS or use software like Armory Crate with my ASUS B650-Plus motherboard. Would I need a female-to-female 4-pin cable or an adapter to convert SATA to 4-pin? Is this setup going to work or not?

What fan hub are you using? Some hubs are designed to work with just a remote, while others can connect directly to the motherboard for better control.

I’m not sure about the name of the fan hub since the case isn’t very popular. The fans have 6-pin female connectors that plug into 6-pin male ports on the hub. I’ve read that it might not work with the motherboard, but I'm open to trying something that won't cost too much. Should I look for a different fan hub that works with 6-pin fans and can connect to the motherboard's CHA_FAN header?
