I'm looking into dual booting Windows, which is already installed on my SSD, and Linux on my HDD. However, I don't have a USB drive available. Is it possible to set this up without one?

Yes, you can technically dual boot from different drives without a USB. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a way to install Linux. Besides CDs and DVDs, you could also think about using an SD card if you have a reader. Just remember that some setups can be tricky, especially with partitioning your drives, so proceed carefully!
It is possible, but I have to say that you might encounter issues if you're trying to do too much with network setups or complex partitioning. It’s generally easier to just grab an inexpensive USB stick, you know? It’ll save you a lot of hassle in the long run.
Absolutely! You can use a CD or DVD to boot into Linux if you have one lying around. It’s a valid option, not everyone uses USB drives these days, right?
Honestly, if you need a USB for other tasks in the future, you might want to consider just buying one. They’re pretty cheap, usually around $10 or less.

Long live optical media!
