I recently moved and had to transport my PC on a long flight. I removed the RAM, hard drive, and GPU to keep them safe in my carry-on, but unfortunately, my PC case got bent in several spots during the checked baggage process. The biggest issue is with the panel where the GPU's display ports connect; it's really crooked. The GPU fits in, but the screw holes don't line up, and the case is blocking the ports, making them inaccessible. I can adjust the GPU a bit to align it, but I'm concerned that might damage the PCI slot over time. Can I fix this with some tools like a hammer, or do I need to invest in a completely new case? I'm open to any suggestions! I've even included some images of the damage here: https://imgur.com/a/m0r8CZC

You can try to fix it! First, take out the GPU and any other components that might be in the way. Then, use some pliers to bend the case back as close to its original shape as possible. Just keep in mind, it might not look perfect afterward, but it could work!
Honestly, it looks like it might just be the GPU that has the off angle, not the case itself. Reseat the GPU to make sure it's aligned with the motherboard rather than worrying about the case. If it’s still off, bending the case back a bit should definitely help.
Yeah, I agree. Just make sure everything's lined up before you put the GPU back in - it should fit better that way!
