Hey everyone, I've got an iPhone 15 Pro that recently developed a dead pixel (check out the attached photo). The tricky part is that the back glass was replaced by a non-authorized service center. I'm wondering if they will check for that when I bring it in. The dead pixel appeared out of nowhere; my phone hasn't been dropped since the back glass incident six months ago. Can anyone explain how the warranty procedure works in this case? Thanks a lot!

It’s always best to check with the warranty terms. If the dead pixel is a manufacturer defect and they can confirm that the screen is legit, you might still be in luck. But yeah, usually, they can spot aftermarket repairs easily.
Yeah, they'll probably notice that the screen isn’t factory-installed. If the dead pixel is due to the screen issue, you might end up having to pay for a genuine replacement display. Just a heads up!
Actually, the screen is factory-installed; only the back glass was replaced. So, I'm hoping they won't penalize me for that.
