Hey folks! I hope you're all doing great. As a trader, I mainly focus on monitoring charts and don't really push my PC to its limits with heavy tasks. I'm curious if it's alright to leave my computer on all the time. If any of you have experience with keeping your PC running continuously, I'd love to hear your tips or advice!

It should be totally fine to keep it on all the time! Just remember to restart it every now and then for better stability. It helps clear out any memory issues.

You should be good, but make sure you disable Windows auto-updates. Those can be a pain if they decide to update while you're trading!

I had to completely turn off all updates since Windows was still trying to push them even with auto updates off. It's been smooth sailing for over two months now!

Just adjust some of the policy settings to make sure it doesn’t force updates.

Definitely! That's what these machines are designed for. You shouldn't have any problems running it non-stop as a trading tool.

My work computer acts as a server for our small business and it’s been running continuously for years, other than the rare blackout that lasts over 30 minutes. So from my experience, it's quite reliable.
