Can I Power Up a Motherboard Without the Multi-Key?

I have a Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 motherboard and I've noticed that it's missing the multi-key button. It only has a q-flash button. Can this motherboard be powered on without the multi-key, or do I need a case to start it up?

To get this motherboard running, you'll need a CPU, a heatsink, and RAM installed. Make sure the 24-pin and 8-pin power connectors from your PSU are plugged in as well. Once that's set, you can short the power button pins using something conductive, like a screwdriver, to power it on. Just double-check which pins to short in your manual! What exactly do you mean by 'multi-key' though?

I believe the multi-key could be about the M.2 SSD interface? Anyway, if you can't use a case button, touching the right pins with something conductive will work to turn it on. Just refer to your manual for the specific pins.
