Can I Replace My Cooler Master Hyper 212 Fan?

Hey everyone! My Cooler Master Hyper 212 cooler has started making a grinding noise when the fan runs above 600 RPM. I'm wondering if it's possible to swap out the fan for another one that I can find on Amazon or somewhere else. Most of what I see are just standard case fans, and I want something that can connect properly to the heatsink. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out the TL-C12C, it's pretty affordable at around $7. Should fit your needs perfectly.

That sounds like a great deal! Have you used it personally, or is it just a recommendation?

Yes, you can definitely replace it with a standard 120mm case fan. Just make sure to keep the mounting brackets from your original fan, as those are necessary to attach the new fan to the heatsink.
