Can I Reuse My Thermal Grizzly Thermal Paste on CPU and GPU After One Day?

Hey everyone! I know this might seem like a silly question, but I recently applied Thermal Grizzly thermal paste to both the CPU and GPU of my Asus Zephyrus G15 with an AMD 5900HS. This was necessary because it was overheating between 92-95 degrees, primarily due to a cheap thermal paste job by Asus customer support. I applied the thermal paste myself, but I think I made a mistake during application with inconsistent thickness. Now, I don't have any thermal paste left and I'm wondering if I can just scrape it off and reuse what I applied after cleaning everything up. I could really use some honest advice on this!

If you still have some Thermal Grizzly left in the tube, I recommend using that after cleaning off the old paste. It's important for the GPU thermal pads to be the right thickness, so make sure to pay attention there. Also, just a heads up, don’t overtighten or leave the screws too loose when you assemble everything! There are tons of helpful videos on YouTube about repasting if you want to get visual guidance. And seriously, don't even think about liquid metal unless you know exactly what you're doing—it's risky!

I actually used it all up initially because I thought I needed to apply it thick to both the CPU and GPU. I’m strapped for cash since the thermal paste was pricey, so I’m thinking about scraping it off and applying a pea-sized amount after cleaning. I used 1mm and 1.5mm thermal pads on the VRAM and SSD and tightened the screws to about 80%. No liquid metal for me, don’t worry!
