Can I Set Up Dual Monitors with a New Dell XPS?

I'm currently using a Dell XPS 8700 that's served me well for the last decade, with one monitor connected via VGA and another using a VGA to USB adapter. I'm thinking about upgrading to a new computer, specifically this Dell model: [Dell Desktop](https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/desktop-computers/dell-tower-plus-desktop/spd/dell-ebt2250-desktop/useebt2250wcto02?view=configurations#support_section). It comes with one HDMI port, a Thunderbolt port, and plenty of USB slots. However, I've heard that the Intel® UHD Graphics may limit its ability to support dual monitors. Is it actually possible to set up dual monitors with this new setup? If so, how would I go about doing that? Thanks!

Don't forget to check the specs! If the features tab mentions support for multiple displays through HDMI and Thunderbolt, you're in business. That should handle your dual monitors just fine!

Consider getting a used graphics card like the GTX 1060 or GT 1030, which you can find for around 30 bucks or so. It'll allow you to run two monitors easily. If you're shopping for around $800, you could build a custom PC that comes with more outputs right from the start!

That might be a good way to go! I'll keep an eye out for those options. Thanks!

It looks like the model you’re looking at might only have one output available, which could be why some say it can’t handle dual monitors. One option is to use an HDMI splitter, but that might not work as well as you'd hope. Another suggestion would be to invest in a low-cost graphics card to give you those extra outputs you need for dual displays. That way, you'll have a smoother experience!

Thanks for the tips! I'm definitely open to getting a GPU if that's what it takes. Do you have any recommendations?
