Can I Split a 128GB DDR4 RAM Kit Between Two PCs?

I'm wondering if it's possible to take a factory-matched 128GB DDR4 RAM kit, which comes with 4 sticks, and split it into two sets of 64GB (2 sticks each) to use in different computers. I know mixing RAM kits isn't ideal, but since these are originally paired, would there be any issues? Has anyone tried this before? Overclocking is not a factor for me.

You won't have any problems with this. The RAM sticks don’t really have any awareness about where they are; they just work as long as they're compatible with the motherboard.

But they'll be lonely when taken away from their brothers 🙁
