I have a power bank that I've been using for about a year and four months. Recently, one of the built-in cords for iPhone stopped working, although the USB-A and Type-C outputs are still fine. Frustrated, I threw it across the room a few times, and now I'm worried about using it. I've noticed some cracks that weren't there before, and I read online about batteries expanding and leaking, which makes me nervous. I'm considering buying a USB-A to Lightning cord so I can keep using it, but is it safe? What should I do?

Without taking it apart and checking the insides, no one can really say if it’s safe. You might want to look into anger management if throwing things is a regular thing for you. Just saying!
