I'm trying to find a way to exchange all the data between my mom's high-quality ACER gaming laptop, which she mostly uses for simple tasks like checking emails and making resumes, and my Samsung laptop. My laptop is good for most tasks, but it struggles with gaming and video editing. Is there an easy way to completely transfer everything over to each other's computers? I don't want to risk messing anything up—should I take it to Best Buy for help?

Yes, it might be possible! If both laptops use the same type of storage drive and it isn't soldered down, you could swap the drives directly. However, keep in mind that they'll likely have different drivers, so you'd need to uninstall the existing drivers and install the correct ones afterwards.
Another thing you could try is using a tool like Sysprep to reset the drivers to a base level after swapping. Just make sure to back up all important files before doing anything!
Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate it.
