Hey everyone! I recently got my hands on a Dell Optiplex 5080 SFF and I'm considering turning it into a mid-tier gaming PC. Has anyone modified one of these before and achieved good performance? I'm new to building gaming PCs but I'm eager to learn. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Keep in mind that Dell often uses proprietary parts, especially for power supplies, which makes serious upgrades challenging. It might limit your options down the line.
If you have the proper power supply connections, the best low-profile GPU you could get is the RTX 5060. If not, stick with a low-profile RTX 3050, but just make sure your power supply can handle it!
You can definitely upgrade it with a low-profile RTX 3050 6GB, but that's about the best you can do due to the motherboard and power supply limitations. Unfortunately, the board and PSU can't be swapped out, so that's your ceiling for upgrades.
