I currently have 16GB of RAM in my laptop, which is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor. I initially thought I couldn't add more RAM, but I found out that I might be able to add another 8GB. I'm curious if I can upgrade to a total of 32GB. Does anyone have insights on whether that's possible or what I should be aware of? Here's a link to my laptop for reference, though it's in French: [Link](https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00469181.html).

You can usually upgrade to 2x16GB max if you're just gaming. That should be plenty for most tasks!
Make sure to purchase RAM specifically for laptops, not desktops. I recommend checking out some laptop forums too for model-specific advice.
Your laptop should support up to 2x16GB and possibly even 2x32GB, but it's best to check the specs to be sure!
As for the onboard RAM, it's typically not soldered, so you should be able to add more. Just keep in mind that going for 2x16GB plus the 8GB onboard could give you 40GB total, which is a solid choice for long-term use!
Your laptop can max out at 32GB total. I’d suggest getting 2x16GB DDR4-3200 RAM modules for the best results.

So the 8GB that's onboard, is it tricky to undo that if needed?
