Can I Upgrade My PC Parts Without Compatibility Issues?

I'm new to upgrading my PC, so I need some help! I want to switch out my case, GPU, and power supply. My boyfriend picked the GPU and power supply for me since I'm not very knowledgeable about that stuff, while I chose the case with his approval. My old motherboard is a bit of a mystery since it was a gift and is green, but I think it's around the size of a mini. I'm trying to fit this motherboard into my new CORSAIR FRAME 4000 Series case, but I'm not sure if it's compatible. I heard the standoffs in the case can be adjusted for different motherboard sizes, but mine isn't aligning with any options. Am I overlooking something or is the motherboard just not compatible with this case? I can share photos if needed. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Yeah, without the specific model of your motherboard, it's hard to give you a clear answer on compatibility. Is there a model name or number printed on it anywhere? If you find that, it could really help narrow things down.

Okay, I found this: Dell PN VJ4OT REV A00. Is that what I’m looking for?

You should check if there's a brand and model number on your motherboard. That info is crucial since it helps to determine compatibility with other parts. Once you find that, you can look it up online to see what processors it supports and what form factor it is. By the way, those things you mentioned are actually called standoffs, and the manufacturer's page for your case has all the specs you need to figure it out. Check this link for more details: [CORSAIR FRAME 4000D Specs](https://www.corsair.com/us/en/explorer/diy-builder/cases/frame-4000d-series-everything-you-need-to-know). Good luck!
