Can I Upgrade My Phenom X4 9550 to Windows 11?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade to Windows 11 using the Flyby 11 software, but I'm running into a compatibility issue. It keeps saying that my Phenom X4 9550 CPU isn't compatible because it lacks support for SSE4.2 and POPCNT. However, when I checked in CPU-Z, it indicates that my CPU is actually compatible with SSE4A, which is equivalent to SSE4.2. I attempted to install Windows 11 (version 24h2), but it won't start. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Thanks!

From what I understand, Flyby 11 won’t let you bypass the POPCNT requirement, which is a bummer. The Phenom X4 9550 should theoretically support it based on its architecture, but it might just be an issue with how the software recognizes your CPU. You could try reaching out to the Flyby support team for more clarification.

Unfortunately, Flyby 11 has a strict requirement for POPCNT, and it seems like your CPU might not meet that despite the SSE4A compatibility. I would recommend checking if there are any BIOS updates available for your motherboard that could potentially unlock more features or support. Just remember to back up your data before making any changes!
