Can I Upgrade to a 5070ti While Keeping My 3070 and Current Setup?

I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC, but my budget only allows for a GPU upgrade right now. I'd like to replace my RTX 3070 with a 5070ti. However, I'm concerned about compatibility with my current hardware. Specifically, I want to know if I can use the 5070ti with my B450 motherboard and Ryzen 7 5800x processor without running into major issues. Will I experience any significant performance drops at 1440p? Here are my specs:

- Motherboard: B450 Tomahawk Max II
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
- Current GPU: RTX 3070
- RAM: DDR4 Kingston 3200MHz (2 x 8GB)

I plan on upgrading to an AM5 motherboard eventually, but I'm not sure when that will be.

The main thing to check is your power supply (PSU). You'll want to see if it has the right cables and can handle the power requirements of the 5070ti. If it can provide enough juice, I say go for it! Your Ryzen 7 5800x shouldn't bottleneck much at 1440p gaming, but you'll want to keep an eye on your PSU's specs too. If needed, you can always upgrade the PSU later.

So if I need a better PSU, it’s possible to get one without it being a big hassle, right? And the only potential downside would just be minor CPU bottlenecking?
