Can I Use a 13-Year-Old PSU in My PC?

Hey everyone! I came home from work yesterday and found that my PC wouldn't boot up, and it seems like the power supply unit (PSU) might be the issue. I'm planning to build a new computer soon, so I'd rather not spend money on fixing this one right now. I stumbled upon an old, unopened PSU at work (it's an OCZ ZT Series 750W), which is about 13 years old but fully modular and comes with cables. It got great reviews back in the day, but I wanted to check with you all—do you think it's safe to use this 'new' old PSU without risking damage to my other components? Thanks!

Honestly, if a PSU is older than what most people would consider the average lifespan, I’d be cautious. This PSU is quite old, and even if it’s unopened, there’s no warranty. Have you done any tests on it to see if it works?

I haven’t tested it yet since the box is still sealed, but I’m curious about its reliability. It’s unused, at least.
