I'm currently getting only about 10 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speeds on my Moto G35, and it's really frustrating. I have an RJ45 Ethernet cable and I'm thinking about connecting it directly to my phone to access faster internet from my router, which can support speeds up to 60 Mbps. I've found a USB C to RJ45 adapter online and I'm tempted to grab the cheapest one available since I'm a student and need to save money. My main question is: will this setup allow me to reach that 60 Mbps speed on my phone, and is it worth the investment?

Honestly, I doubt Wi-Fi is the main issue if you're struggling with such low speeds. It's worth a shot to try the adapter, but troubleshooting your router setup could give you a better boost in speed overall.
I've used a similar USB C to Ethernet adapter with my iPhone and it worked just fine! So yes, it should work for your Moto G35 too. Just make sure you get a good quality one for better performance.
When it comes to USB C to Ethernet adapters, you usually get what you pay for. Cheaper options might work, but they sometimes don't deliver the best speeds. Just keep in mind that whether you'll hit that full 60 Mbps largely depends on how your phone handles the connection. If your router is only outputting 10 Mbps, it could be because it's stuck on a crowded 2.4GHz band. Switching to a 5GHz router could boost your speed significantly without needing to tether.
That's good advice! Also, setting the router to connect on less congested channels could help too.
Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely consider upgrading to a 5GHz router!

Interesting point! I might need to check my router settings before making any purchases.
